Overview

Glasform is located in the heart of the Fylde Coast a short journey from Blackpool, Preston and Lytham St. Annes. The furnace runs 365 days a year in what was the shippon used to house the cows when Pointer House Farm was once a Dairy farm. We are open to the public and in an informal setting, visitors can watch the glassblowers at work using techniques hundreds of years old. There is also a showroom full of beautiful handmade glass to view and purchase.

They really need to up their PR here. Having been in their showroom for some time an unsmiling woman finally bothered to come out of the office - the people in there had seen us - and seemed totally disinterested in our enquiry. Their stuff,...More

Fascinating wee trip to watch the glass blowing today. The young (and not so young) visitors among us had loads of questions. The professional was very knowledgeable and it was great to see. I think they should have a donation box as it is a...More

We have a piece of Johnny Ditchfield's creations(vase) before he became famous - given to a family member in exchange for a pair of glasses!? Well how things have changed - he is now a master glassblower with his own business. His workshops and galleries...More

Lovely glass products. Staff around but no-one asked if we wanted to see the glass being blown or if we wanted to buy anything though.
