Nice Stopover from Mt Cook
Jan 2021 • Friends
This is a great stop over and great photo op. Can buy lavender products and ice cream. They charge $5 to enter the farm for photos and its fun.

If you've had enough of turquoise...try purple!
Jan 2020
A lovely place to visit while en route to/from Aoraki/Mt Cook. In amongst several ridiculously picturesque turquoise lakes there's this purple patch which is worth stopping in at. I can't say I was impressed with being charged to walk amongst the flowers but it's pretty good from the fence at the edge too.

Bit of ice cream $8, entry to the actual farm $5, not bad to sit around in the sun and take some pics! We event bought some spritz as it all smelled so lovely! Great team working there, so friendly!

Delightful place. We were lucky to arrive early so we had the lavender fields to ourselves for half an hour. Got some lovely photos. The ice cream is delicious.

Such a beautiful place to visit on a lovely day. I have taken my children there on a number of occasions which they have really enjoyed. Sitting on the purple tractor and lavender ice creams were a highlight! Plenty of space to run around too and get some great photos!

Beautiful Stopover
Dec 2019
An interesting stopover on the left towards Aoraki/ Mount Cook National Park, this lavender farm not yet blooming when we visited earlier. We enjoyed the lavender-berry flavored ice cream & the picturesque farm view. The gift shop at the entrance also sells other lavender based product like tea, oil, fragrances, soaps etc.

A feast for the senses.

The colors are just phenomenal, then the perfume and of course the constant buzz of the pollinators, not to mention the lavender ice cream.
It is really well set out, the prices are a little steep but then again lavender can't flower all year round and the guys selling tickets and products were not the epitome of friendly. However, really worth a visit.

Do visit this beautiful place.
Mar 2019 • Family
The lavender was not in flower when we visited in March but it didn't matter as it is such a nice spot to stop and walk around. The layout is lovely and the container shop and caravan etc are all painted lavender to add to the attraction. Lovely authentic organic made lavender products on display in the shop. Best of all in the caravan is lavender ice cream! WOW don't go past without having one, it is truly the best quality and flavour of ice cream I have ever tasted. I will be ordering some product on line in the future. Love what they are doing here.
