Visited Margarites as part of the Road train trips from Panormos. Beautiful little village where many of the residents are potters. Lovely little shops selling their wares, and very very reasonably priced. Recommended.

Took the Little Train from centre of Panormos to Margarites It's around a 4 hour round trip & great value . You get some great views , a stop at a working pottery and time for lunch and a wonder round the lovely hill village...More

Wonderful village. Great place to visit on the way to or from Rethimnon. Go inside each store to see what and how they do whatever it is they produce...
