Visited this church after visiting another ruin, the Abbaye de Mont-Saint-Eloi, earlier in the week. While the size of Saint Eloi made it slightly more impressive, this ruin is more expansive, and you get a better sense of the church and how it was laid...More

Very interesting to see this church preserved as it was left after WW1. Definitely worth visiting and very close to the Lorette on the hill above.

This church that was ruined in WW1 is available for anyone to see for free, if you can find it. We were on a guided tour so our guide knew exactly where it is. You can still see the beauty this church once possessed. The...More

A stunning memorial to the Great war, this church has been left exactly as it was after the conflict. A photographer's dream with the mausoleum and lantern tower of Notre Dame de Lorette clearly visible behind the ruins themselves. Some interesting carved graffiti too.

You can see miles and miles from this ruin, over towards Arras and far over the countryside around. This must have been a huge set of dwellings in the 1700s. It is understandable that it was bombed during the First World War in 1915 as...More

We were out driving and stopped at Notre Dame de Lorette and came across this little gem. Wonderful access, beautiful view, and a reminder if destruction. A little plaque explaining the history would be beneficial.

Hi TripAdvisor, I don't know how else to do this but this is not where you said it is. We spent quite a bit of time looking for it, and eventually the tourist information office said it was a long way away. Please fix it

I loved this site--I really did. It is, as others have said, very accessible and already on the way to Notre Dame de Lorette for those headed up there. Like the abbaye at Saint Eloi, this one is also a ruin from the First World...More

This was another find on our trip. The ruins are just below the main Notre Dame de Lorette site, with a small car park, they are very accessible, though there is no information on the site. When we got to the ND de Lorette site...More

This site was behind construction barriers two years ago but it is now stabilized and you can walk around the ruins. You are likely to be alone on this site as it is quite small and doesn't seem to be on the main tour route...More
