Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We stayed in the Doble Vista Hostel above this Aguacate Bay. It's lovely, very peaceful. Sweet little black Virgin Mary statue, a few old locals' homes along the shore and a little restaurant with a kind owner. We swam and snorkeled. Not a lot of fish (it was rainy, February), some interesting brain coral.

Place has food, beach and hiking. Most people can reach it by boat, but if you are up to an hour to hour and a half hike from capurgana, you should get plenty of water and snacks for the trip. Please dont forget to not litter.

We walked both ways to this enchanting bay from Capurgana. On our way out we hugged the coast the start which was interesting. Then as we scrambled round headlands and passed the local poet in his shack things were no longer tame. The bay at Aguacate has a restaurant where we ate red snapper beautifully cooked whilst admiring the turquoise waters in the glistening bay. Does it sound as is we enjoyed it??

Nice to snorkel, calm sea. It's a tiny village on grass with acess to a small bay. There is nearly no beach to lay down.

Small bay near Capurgana. Great or snorkeling and relaxing. It is about a 1 hour walk or 10 minute boat ride from Capurgana

Hola Santiago.
Cuando dices que es mejor viajar a pie que en lancha, ¿de dónde a dónde te refieres? ¿Qué otros lugares visitaste? Estoy muy interesada en conocer Chocó y me gustaría saber.
¡Gracias!
