Literally just around the corner from the Vaporetto water bus stop (get off at Murano Colonno - the first stop at Murano - and turn left). The demonstration workshop is next to glass shop and for €3 you can sit on wooden benches and watch...More

I fell in love with the chandeliers. They do not send overseas. He/she must take it with her. I enjoyed looking at the incredible creations. At the entrance is a blue Glass creation that must be over six feet high. Beautiful picture frames.

we went to see Murano - one of the most known islands near Venice to experience how glass sculptures are made Fascinating is the blowing process the Artist performs but the most impressive element is the speed in which one of the souvenirs is made

Visited the glass factory and loved the brief show. We then asked to be escorted in the gallery at the back of the factory-not the front store for all the tourists. Tht is where the large pieces are and the more pricey ones. It was...More

This place was wonderful! We got to sit and watch the glass blowers make a vase and an elephant. These people are so creative in their craft! But you better take lots of money if you want to purchase anything from the factory!! You can...More

Watch glass being blown for 3 euro is fine but the arrogant ‘boss’ yelling at tourists for trying to leave after the demonstration........ before he funnels people from the demo into his store via a network of chains ( he clearly doesn’t want you to...More

We stumbled across this small glass factory during a rainstorm, and it was a wonderful way to spend a half hour or so. For 3 euros you are treated to a breathtaking demonstration of Murano glass blowing. We saw a horse, cat, vase, and fish...More

We loved the quick little presentation and how true Murano glass is made. Well worth the trip and the few euro they charge. Do not forget to fully wander around. See the town square!

This is the second time I have visited this little factory. They charge €3 for demonstration from the masters in glass production and glass blowing. The demonstration is topped off by a multilingual guide. This is well worth a visit. As you get off the...More

One man explained what was going on, while the other blew, shaped, and textured multiple pieces of glass in a matter of minutes. So cool! Would happily have paid way more than the €3 they charged to watch.
