The highest point on Sylt is worth visiting, not because of its great elevation, but because of the great views over the island. It's just off the cycle path from Wenningstedt to Kampen and just takes a short time to visit, so why not? There's...More

There is parking nearby. It's a bit of a hike up the stairs but you are rewarded by a beautiful panoramic view. A lovely lighthouse is off in the distance. Be sure to walk down the back to an overlook to the beach.

It may be Sylt's highest point but that doesn't mean it's worth seeing - or climbing. Pretty ordinary hump of you ask me.

Short stair climb over stairs to a fantastic 360° view over Sylt. It's the highest bump in this area always worth a visit.

Once you have climbed about 110 stairs, you have a great view of the surrounding area, all the way to List to the north and both sides of the ocean. Definitely worth the climb.

A walk here is recommended. Well prepared and looked after. Accessible. Nice view. But it's not extraordinary if that's what you're looking for

The Uwe Düne offers a great view of the island. It is a bit tricky to find though. From there it is only a 5min walk to the beach and there you will find the perfect sand for miles and miles.

This place offers great view over the island and to the sea. Here you see the quintessence of Sylt: sands and sea from one side and calm landscapes with dunes and cliffs from another. If you have time only for one sight - this must...More
