A historical mosque in Kashan, Iran. The mosque was built in the late 18th century by master-mimar Ustad Haj Sa'ban-ali, the mosque and theological school (madrasah) is located in the center of Kashan. It was here where Ustad Ali Maryam as a pupil started his career as a brilliant architect.

At the first look it's similar to all of the mosques in Iran. But when you go alittle forward! The second yard will appear. It's not very far from the bazaar, you can walk there in 10 minutes.

Its a pretty mosque and the entry it free.. Was close to my hostel too. You dont need much time here..20 mins and you are done.. so do visit it when in Kashan. there were hardly any people when we visited this about 10am.

a very beautiful and quiet place, with a madrasa next to it (but you cannot enter it). just sit and wait !

It is one of the olderst mosque in Kashan which was built at 18th Century. Amazing design and historical.

I just loved the spiritual feeling this simple mosque gave me!it is not so luxurious, designed with many beautiful details, that is why it feels so spiritual! i surely recommend visiting this mosque

You can see beautiful tiles on the walls. The lower level of the Mosque is used as a seminary. The architecture is simple with designs on the ceilings.

This was the last mosk of many we visited in Iran. It's free and empty, not in use anymore. After so much decoration everywhere, we found it a relief that it was so "simple" but stunning.
