The desert is lovely especially at night. The path to caravanseri is unpaved (november 2018) and realy inconvenient for non off roads. I think just pulling over in the way where it feels desert could do, besides caravansaraei itself is not that big deal.

We enjoyed ourselves playing with the sand, strolling, running, lying on it. Engaged with the local tour for the day tour in Kashan after landed in Tehran early in the morning. We rode on 4WD to the desert before the sunset.
