This museum is chock full of things related to prolific author Karl May. The indian memorabilia is unmatched anywhere in Europe and in many places in the U.S. People are friendly and it is affordable. There is something for everyone. Do not miss it.

Why should we make a visit? For kids; 1. good to learn about Karl May, his books, Indians (Winnetou and co) and its accesories. 2. has a play ground 3. has an interesting questionaire and later, get a pin and a bedge as a souvenir....More

What a place!!! Children AND adults can take a trip back into the times of Karl May dreaming of Winnetou and Old Shatterhand. If you are a Karl-May-fan do not forget to visit the library!
