I went to the Jhansi fort and it makes you see the ancient architecture at nominal cost. It is not very well maintained but other than that I think it is a must visit if you are visiting the city

We visit JHANSI Fort with realitives. The history of this fort is very interesting. You can see full cities from top of the fort. Must visit this place if you visit JHANSI. Also visit JHANSI museum.

The easily accessible fort reminds of grandeur and simplicity of Rani Laxmibai. The light & sound show worth for travellers with limited time but best explored during day time to experience the fort

By road, it will take around 4 hrs. to reach Jhansi via Orai from Kanpur if you are travelling by car. Otherwise Govt. buses and direct trains are also available from Kanpur to Jhansi.
