It's maybe our most visited place in Coutances after the concert venues. Visited with different flowers and plants in bloom it's the definitive place to relax and enjoy acacia and other aromas.

We visited in October and thoroughly enjoyed the planting in the autumn sunshine. The gardener has a sense of humour and it is definitely worth taking time out to walk round. Good place to eat your picnic.

These gardens are very near to Coutances cathedral. They are not very big but built on a slope and there are steps or a steep slope to walk down. Very colourful plants and well maintained.

This is more of a municipal park than a garden, with typical beds of bedding plants. Not somewhere to rush back to, unless you just want a pleasant place to sit on a warm day, to rest your legs whilst out shopping.

A beautiful garden near the centre of town and the cathedral, lots of beautiful displays, a small museum and a maze!

It takes 7-8 gardeners to plant everything at the beginning of the season and later just 1 gardener to maintain it all. It's incredible what this small, and later even smaller, work force achieves. When you talk to the gardener you can tell it's labour...More

Hi We cannot recal anything saying they are not allowed but on looking at the website for the garden it does say strictly only on a lead. So, should be OK.
