The day we visited in late August the farm was closed for the season but we were able to walk all around the grounds and see all the interesting old buildings and imagine life as it was long ago here.

Still closed as of mid May 2017, thought the signage says welcome... there's a low barrier across the road. Nothing at the bottom of the hill indicates it's closed and the hiking maps given out in Flam show it as a destination.
