We perform checks on reviews.
Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Recently stayed at the Kiwi Beach Bach which is situated directly opposite this park. My family had an awesome experience, The park is a credit to the community, very safe and well utilised by all accounts. Perfect for picnics and family time with the BBQ's in operation.

We often stay close by during short breaks or longer holidays and this is the ideal location for walks, with or without our dog, since there is a 1.5km walk/cycleway starting from there and running south between Marine Parade and the beach and dunes. Great views of Kapiti Island and several benches to rest all along the way.

The playground and skate park are in good use, but the pond has been dug up for a new approach. There are seats and great views of the sunset, plus path access heading South and the beach in front of you. With shops behind, there is all you need for a day at the beach. Buses from Paraparaumu station have a terminus just a block away inland.

My 2 year old loves everything with wheels and was very excited to get to sit on the tractor here and pretend to drive up to Auckland to visit his cousin! He also had a turn on each swing and enjoyed scooping up sand in the buckets attached to pulleys at the back of the boat. The little slide through the lighthouse needs better cushioning at the base but the other equipment was great. We would definitely stop by again if we’re in the area.

Such a relaxing place to spend time: Quiet, spacious, sea views with Kapiti Island on the horizon. The kids play to their hearts' content, whilst their parents are having a relaxing and well deserved time.

With a kids play ground to keep the kids stimulated, the beach is also close by. There are public loos here Too, so always handy on your day out!
Great for a winter stroll or swimming & sun bathing in summer.
Busy in summer & lots of cafes & shops in this area.

We visit Maclean park regularly as it has it all for us. There is a beautiful beach if you'd like a stroll, the children's playground is excellent for our Son 3, I like to paint rocks to take and hide around the park, there are seated areas with great views for eating, there is a fish and chip shop or dairy across the road for convenience and there is toilet facilities. It is my favorite park for a day trip.

We went to this park as we had previously visited on our last trip to New Zealand. We sat at the picnic table and ate our dinner. The seagulls were happy to share. The sunset over the water was spectacular and made our day complete. There was play equipment for children but as we didn't have any with us we can't review the play ground. The beach looked lovely to stroll along or go in the water.
