Dennis our pilot, who by the way was very skillful and personable, picked us up at Greenmantle Estate and took us on an exhilarating ride around Kapiti Island and then for lunch on a river bed in the middle of the Rumataka Ranges. The lunch, deck chairs, rugs and bubbly was very special indeed, but that landscape was straight out of Jurassic Park and we felt like John Hammond awaiting the latest engineered creation to emerge from the vegetation.
Stunning day, awesome landings and take offs and good wholesome Kiwi conversation- just what we all need post COVID Lockdown. Thoroughly recommended.

Four of us went on the Transmission Gully flight to see thd new highway before it opens. Very friendly and efficient welcome and safety briefing before the flight. Dennis thebpilot was very informative and made the flight very enjoyable. The views of Kapiti Coast and then the flight over thd new highway were spectacular. Highly recommend Kapiti Heliworx and this particular flight

Today my partner and I went on a Picnic for two helicopter flight from Kapiti to the Tararua Ranges. We were greeted by friendly staff member Zoe and then guided to the helicopter to meet the pilot Dennis and have our safety brief. The ride was smooth and beautiful as Dennis safety took us over the ranges and landed us by the gorgeous river. 1.5hours we got to spend eating the delicious gourmet food that was prepared for us. Set up with blankets, chairs, a picnic set and ice cold drinks we took in the wonderful view and sounds of the river.
It was a gorgeous day and the ease of the pilot flying us around made enjoying the views so easy to do!
I highly recommend this team and this buisness! Easy to deal with and an extremely enjoyable experience!

A short flight in a small helicopter (4 seats, including the pilot) round Kapiti Island from the Lindale Centre, Paraparaumu.
We were greeted in a very friendly manner by our pilot and then given life jackets and a short safety briefing before boarding. He told us we could take as many photos as we wanted and that he would take photos of us with the helicopter at the end of the flight. In fact, it would have been difficult for my husband to take photos as he was seated behind the pilot and the flight was anti-clockwise round the island. it would have been fairer if the pilot had ensured everyone got equal viewing opportunities. We also only saw the north, south and western edges of the island, not the landward eastern side. After circumnavigating the island, we flew to the proposed Transmission Gully route for the new motorway and then north along State Highway 1 with a good view of Queen Elizabeth Park.
Throughout we had very informative commentary from the pilot on the history of the region. We felt safe at all times, as he was in constant communication with the air traffic controller at the local airport.

Well worth the time and money. I took my parents on the Kapiti Island flight, we all had a great time. Fantastic views and our pilot was knowledgeable and funny.

Absolutely fantastic flight with my Wife and Grandparents ,your personalised professional safety briefing and customer service was five star rated !
We will be on board again with Kapiti Heliworx when the Transmission Gully project is complete and open to traffic.
A totally new prospective from the air for me ,compared to working on the alignment daily .

From checking in at the airport to the end of our trip we could not fault these guys. I was taken by my husband on a surprise helicopter ride for lunch at Furneaux Lodge in the Marlborough Sounds. The ride was amazing and the lunch outstanding. Loved our pilot, he made the trip awesome!!! We even circled a pod of dolphins on the ride home. Cannot rate these guys highly enough. We will definitely be return customers. Thanks so much for an u forgettable day

Well worth every $ spent. Breathtaking scenery and very educational trip! Even in bad weather it was well worth it.

My grandfather, father and I booked in with Kapiti Heliworx for a helicopter flight over the Kapiti Coast, specifically following the new expressway that is being built. It was so awesome to see the road from above, and the beautiful summer weather topped it off. Our pilot was great and informative, and the trip overall was safe and secure. We all enjoyed our flight, and would go again for sure!

Took my hubby on a birthday flight from Kapiti Heliworx. It was such a great time. Booking in was easy. The staff were so pleasurable to deal with. Our flight went off without a hitch and we both had a really great time. Thank you all so much for making his birthday a memorable one. I would recommend this to anyone who is interested.
