Four of us went on the Transmission Gully flight to see thd new highway before it opens. Very friendly and efficient welcome and safety briefing before the flight. Dennis thebpilot was very informative and made the flight very enjoyable. The views of Kapiti Coast and then the flight over thd new highway were spectacular. Highly recommend Kapiti Heliworx and this particular flight

Being my first time in a helicopter I was a little nervous, but the team was so relaxed and friendly I soon forgot all my nerves and really enjoyed the birds eye view of transmission gulley.

Today my partner and I went on a Picnic for two helicopter flight from Kapiti to the Tararua Ranges. We were greeted by friendly staff member Zoe and then guided to the helicopter to meet the pilot Dennis and have our safety brief. The ride was smooth and beautiful as Dennis safety took us over the ranges and landed us by the gorgeous river. 1.5hours we got to spend eating the delicious gourmet food that was prepared for us. Set up with blankets, chairs, a picnic set and ice cold drinks we took in the wonderful view and sounds of the river.
It was a gorgeous day and the ease of the pilot flying us around made enjoying the views so easy to do!
I highly recommend this team and this buisness! Easy to deal with and an extremely enjoyable experience!

Dennis our pilot, who by the way was very skillful and personable, picked us up at Greenmantle Estate and took us on an exhilarating ride around Kapiti Island and then for lunch on a river bed in the middle of the Rumataka Ranges. The lunch, deck chairs, rugs and bubbly was very special indeed, but that landscape was straight out of Jurassic Park and we felt like John Hammond awaiting the latest engineered creation to emerge from the vegetation.
Stunning day, awesome landings and take offs and good wholesome Kiwi conversation- just what we all need post COVID Lockdown. Thoroughly recommended.
