About
The Kāpiti Aero Club is located at the Kāpiti Coast Airport (approximately 45 mins drive north of Wellington) and is the ideal place for anyone wishing to fly recreationally or looking to get a taste of flying a light aircraft. Our facilities are open to Pilots, Spotters and anyone who is interested in Aviation.

What a stunning location! I was lucky enough to be taken up for an aerobatic flight with my mate as the pilot. We did aerobatic manoeuvres over the beautiful Kapiti Island and then cruised up the coast. The plane was terrific and comfortable, an awesome trip!

A friend took me on a scenic flight out of here in November! Such a handy little aero club, plenty of parking, modern aircraft, they made the whole thing so stress free! Highly recommend checking it out!

Whether you want to simply “have a go” at flying a light aircraft or helicopter, or are committed to learning to fly, you can be assured nothing is left to chance and the Kapiti Aero Club will ensure you have a safe and enjoyable experience. The staff are welcoming and friendly, the aircraft are maintained to a high standard and the club rooms are modern, comfortable and have a great view of the Paraparaumu airfield.

If you are interested in aviation, and want to take the next step, visit this Aero Club. Good facilities and a good range of aircraft (fixed wing and helicopters). Very professional staff, and friendly club members.
The club also do scenic flight around the Kapiti area.

If you are thinking about a scenic flight, trial flight or perhaps even lessons, please consider this aeroclub. They have a fantastic modern fleet of aircraft, great instructors and an awesome clubhouse. Give ‘m a call or walk in, you won’t regret it!

Kapiti Aero Club has fantastic aircraft (including helicopters), modern facilities and friendly staff. The airport is centrally located in Paraparaumu and a trial flight is a great way to enjoy the beauty of the Kapiti Coast from the air. Recommended.
