We perform checks on reviews.
Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Coastlands has a nice range of shops and eateries. It has a relaxed feel and was not too busy when we visited. Plenty of parking too.

Nothing special, just a look alike mall seen allover the world. Security guards hanging around the entry are a lot off putting.

Bright and clean with a good range of shops it’s the local go to for food, clothes and homewares.
With Farmers, Stevens, Whittcouls and Paper Plus along side, Cotton on, Butlers chocolates, ice creams pallor, Kathmandu, a small food mall, a cinema and also on site a Briscoe, Rebel Sport, Harvey Norman’s electrical, Countdown, Pak n Save and numerous shoe shops and a medical centre it has it all for a reasonable days shopping trip or retail therapy!

Just a quick trip to qet essentials but has a few shops to browse in. Not a huge mall to spend lots of time in.

There’s a food court, Farmers ,freedom furniture A couple of cafes and some clothing stores. Nice wee look round. Wouldn’t probably spend that much time here but outside there’s spotlight, warehouse Briscoes, number one shoe,Noel leeming just to name few anchoring shops. So all together excel to place to visit.

A smaller mall style shopping center on the Kapiti coast, which I find more enjoyable than the very busy noisier, larger malls.
Changes are constantly happening when shops are closed down or move to other locations, but on the whole there is still the basic needs met.
On the whole the stores are interesting, the mall and food court is kept clean and fresh.

It’s nice to come here and mooch around. It’s more the drive up the coast in beautiful weather. The mall is pretty good for locals but there’s not much in way of boutique shopping.Theres Farmers, Black Pepper,Pagani and Wallflower was a nice clothing store..Global shoes not bad then for the younger ones Jeans West and Cotton on. A lot of clothing is aimed at an older generation than me - and I’m 50! There’s a really good Paper Plus. Was nice and relaxed though. It’s been a year or so and its nice to pop up here -a lot of great memories of trips coming here when I was a child.

Popped in here a couple of times when staying with a friend...
It's definitely a 'shopping centre' opposed to a mall, but apparently there is a mall area that I didn't have time to check out.
I would suggest keeping Google maps handy if you're looking for a specific shop/item...but the variety of shops is fantastic and you will definately find what you're looking for,and then some.

Nice mall with all the usual brand name shops such as Farmers, cotton on, whitcouls and Paperplus. Has a a Warehouse, Spotlight close by as well as a small Freedom furniture now. Nice food hall, good toilets and plenty of free parking. Basically best go to mall on the Kapiti Coast.

Plenty of parking, but make sure you don't go over 4 hours!
Lots of different types of cafe to eat at, actually including some healthy options!
Good range of shops, plus a cinema and supermarket - what's not to like?!
