Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This small forest is really lovely to walk through especially on a hot summer day as it's very shady. Most of the trees are very tall. The pathways are easy, flat and well maintained and it takes about 30 minutes to wander around it (longer im sure if you enjoy plants). The walk to the bush from the parking lot is a different story! Its a medium length walk along the roadside then over a grassy track with a slight slope running between paddocks and could be difficult to impossible for someone in a wheelchair or someone who cannot walk far. If you can get to it, the Bush is well worth the visit.

Yes this place is SO unusual that it a Must See for anybody in the Area. We drove down from Hamilton 27 Kms approx. The trees here are so different from all I have seen before. Name Kahikatea. It is a easy walk, they have made a Carpark approx 150 metres away on Ngaroto Road, ( off Highway 3 ) Before you go down the lane to it. Plenty of information signs as you walk around, very interesting. yes it is like you have stepped back in Time.

Very close to Te Awamutu, a very easy walk through a mature stand of ancient Kahikatia trees with an elevated platform to get you in amongst them.

A lovely walk, through the trees on a boardwalk to protect their roots. Well worth a visit. From the car park cross the road and walk down a slope past fields to the entrance of the bush, this is quite steep, but a lovely place of peace and gentleness, trees are mature and magnificent.

Worth a look. The bird sounds were amazing. Easy walking on the boardwalk and good viewing platform. Slightly steep going back up to carpark.

They have now made a car park some distance away from Yarndleys Bush now as if it was some great attraction. So folks go to see what? Pleasant enough walk down steep slope and then around the trees but nothing spectacular in any way.

Yarndleys bush is a great walk for people who don't want to walk a long distance. Inside the bush is absolutely stunning. It also has a tower to give you some cool views. I got engaged here and then had my wedding photos taken in here.
