Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We stopped off in Morrinsville because we saw the big cow and the cow trail on Google. The painted cows around the town were brilliant, mostly all within walking distance of each other so easy to see lots of them. Would definitely recommend a stop off to see some cows if you’re nearby.

It's a great walk around Morrinsville seeing all the cow statues painted by different artists. The cows all have quirky names too.

The town of Morrinsville has a collection of life-size cow sculptures scattered around the town. If you like art, you'll enjoy walking through the town looking for the various sculptures. You can get a map from the I-Site Visitor Centre to follow the trail and locate the cows, but I preferred just walking around looking for them. The mega cow is just a giant cow statue, so I preferred the smaller cow designs.

We were passing through Morrinsville on the way to Matamata, but had to stop and check out the mega cow just outside town and all the amazing life size cow statues on every street corner.

Wow what a beauty Mabel the Mega cow is, she is huge and an amazing asset to Morrinsville along with the large 'Street Art' herd of cows spread throughout this dairying town. The Herd of Cows has successfully encouraged many visitors to this Waikato town and is well worth the visit. Call in to the i-SITE Visitor Information Centre for the Herd of Cows Trail Map to make sure you see them all....and while you there call in to the Wallace Art Gallery to see their latest exhibitions too. Great place to visit for the day, for all ages and there are lots of eateries in Morrinsville too.

Quirky and interesting. Plenty of life size painted cows to find and photograph for your collection (might be a hobby!). Worth searching for the mega cow (on the road out of town to Hamilton ). Funded by someone who wanted to leave a legacy for the town. I guess not everyone said "thanks mate".

An art installation of some 50 cows throughout the town. Mama cows is the center piece. The largest. You have to see it

The mega cow is worth a photo due to its sheer size but it's the 40+ beautifully artistically painted life sized cows that are really worth the visit. Each cow has its own artist commissioned to paint it. Really special and varied. Definitely recommended if you're passing through.

Absolute eyesore - totally the wrong place to put a monstrosity such as this hideous cow. Why why why
