We had the most amazing day at Bullwool Farm today! What an incredible place. Everything is constructed to the highest quality and immaculately kept, the animals were all happy to see us, we loved the creative ways of feeding some of them (like the xylophone feeder!!).
The little buckets of food were fantastic and a great learning experience for the kids.
We spent most of the day there and could’ve spent longer. Everywhere you look there’s something else to see/do!!
We will be making the trip back to Paeroa again JUST to visit again.

Traveled up from rototua simply to visit this farm, it blew us away! With inspiration for our own future farm! Animals and staff are great and great with kids - all animals are happy and healthy and aren't scared of people, you can tell they are very much loved... And fed lol ❣️ You get the best amount of animal food for $5! You will not find this value anywhere else Must do trip for any family!

My son and I went here as part of a daycare trip. Very reasonably priced day out $12 er adult and child $2 for food. My son enjoyed the different bird life (hens chickens ducks geese etc) and goats and emu. The play areas were multidimensional and great fun. Pirate ship, multiple tracks including go carts, hill racers, and bmx, a rocket ship, a train all made or of natural materials lots of wood and iron. Very very hilly and steep but a gray way to wear down energy. Picnic tables for a picnic lunch. Llamas sheep cows ponies and other animals further up the hill. Plenty of parking and a really friendly host. Very very rural day or and great for the young children, heaps to do.

We stopped in here on our way down south with our two year old. Bought a bucket of animal food and spent a good hour and a half seeing the animals. My daughter loved it. The place is clean and tidy and offers some amazing views of the area. The lady that served us was really friendly. Would highly recommend visiting!

All 3 generations thoroughly enjoyed the morning-afternoon visit, though our grandson was totally worn out on the trip home.
From the moment we arrived, there was interaction with the young through to mature animals.
The variety of children's activities was truly wonderful, though I think the pirate ship was a highlight.
After a full on morning, a picnic break in an area conveniently placed gave the kids a chance to rest before venturing forth into bush heritage and history, through the bush walk to the miners campsite.
Nicely set out, and we could see future developments in progress, and I would say each visit we'd see something new and different from this dynamic enterprise.
Even though it was full on as to all the activities for kids, as adults we equally enjoyed the interaction with the animals and learning of some of some of our history and heritage.
The joys of watching the happiness of the kids relating to the animals and the fun of playing with the activities would be the best thoughts we'd take with us. All in such a quiet and peaceful farm park.

We had a great day at bullswool, with a voucher (free for kids) we paid $30 for 2 adults, which is a real good price considering what they offer. For $5 you get a container of pet food, for all the different animals. All areas are nicely arranged, with a little information on the animals. What is great are the feeding spots and slides. Our little one that is usually scared of bigger animals had a great time feeding them. All the hand/home made toys and playareas around a amazing. Friendly staff on top... What a great experience! We had spent time in farm parks in nz and europe and this was the best so far. Thanks

Not a great place to go on a damp day. I have been to better places but it isn't too far from Hamilton so it's a good place to drive to with the grandkids. Mine love it here. Plenty of animals that are happy to have their photo taken too. Keep an eye on their FB page in case they run a special deal.

Bullswool Farm Park is a must to visit with our without children!! Development is going on all the time, and it is just wonderful.
They have opened a small Gold & Kauri Heritage Museum and are developing a Bush Discovery Reserve. Just so peaceful to walk through the bush and see what they are creating.
Animals are there to feed and watch, and it is a real hands on experience for children.
Well done Bullswook Farm Park!!!

Worth the meandering rural drive in picturesque area! Make sure you buy the bags of animal pellets to feed the menagerie as you walk around at your own pace! Huge outside paddocks and big open enclosures for everything from birds to dogs, sheep, cattle, and the adorable donkeys !
