What a fabulous day!!
Mar 2020 • Family
We had the most amazing day at Bullwool Farm today! What an incredible place. Everything is constructed to the highest quality and immaculately kept, the animals were all happy to see us, we loved the creative ways of feeding some of them (like the xylophone feeder!!).

The little buckets of food were fantastic and a great learning experience for the kids.

We spent most of the day there and could’ve spent longer. Everywhere you look there’s something else to see/do!!

We will be making the trip back to Paeroa again JUST to visit again.

Such a fun experience
We stopped in here on the way from Auckland to Tauranga and I’m so glad we did. What a fun day. I’m not from NZ so it was cool for me to feed some sheep while in this beautiful country. The animals were so friendly (except for a young deer, he didn’t like people too much) but it was awesome to see them all up close and see how well looked after they are. The feeding system is smart. Colour coded cups and signs so you knew which feed to give to which animals & there was plenty of it too. Price was really good, I think entry was around $18 and feed was an extra $5. But we’ll worth it. We were delayed getting to Tauranga because we spent more time here than we anticipated but if you’re going through the gorge, definitely stop in!

Great spot for the little ones amongst us to let loose
May 2019 • Family
My son and I went here as part of a daycare trip. Very reasonably priced day out $12 er adult and child $2 for food. My son enjoyed the different bird life (hens chickens ducks geese etc) and goats and emu. The play areas were multidimensional and great fun. Pirate ship, multiple tracks including go carts, hill racers, and bmx, a rocket ship, a train all made or of natural materials lots of wood and iron. Very very hilly and steep but a gray way to wear down energy. Picnic tables for a picnic lunch. Llamas sheep cows ponies and other animals further up the hill. Plenty of parking and a really friendly host. Very very rural day or and great for the young children, heaps to do.

Jan 2019 • Family
Traveled up from rototua simply to visit this farm, it blew us away! With inspiration for our own future farm! Animals and staff are great and great with kids - all animals are happy and healthy and aren't scared of people, you can tell they are very much loved... And fed lol ❣️ You get the best amount of animal food for $5! You will not find this value anywhere else Must do trip for any family!

Great hidden spot, especially if you have children
Aug 2018 • Couples
They have made beautiful little adventure tracks for your young ones.
They can play, feed the animals and connect with the nature, so can the adults!
It really is a lovely little place.
It is very near the gold mine, perhaps 5 minute drive, so you can easily combine two places in one go.
If you have kids with you, then you MUST visit! Trust me, you will not regret it!

Great for young children
Jan 2018 • Family
Our kids are 4 and 1. They absolutely loved feeding the animals. It exceeded our expectations and would definitely recommend it to anyone with young children. There are alot of handmade wooden toys for kids to play with and there is also a bush walk with interesting i formation about local wildlife and native trees

Best Farm Park we’ve been to!
Oct 2017 • Family
We stopped in here on our way down south with our two year old. Bought a bucket of animal food and spent a good hour and a half seeing the animals. My daughter loved it. The place is clean and tidy and offers some amazing views of the area. The lady that served us was really friendly. Would highly recommend visiting!
