Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We happened to walk by and enter the park. What an unexpected surprise. The grotto was so amazing that my daughter didn't want to leave without exploring every area. There is also a cool playground just down the path. I didn't notice any toilets in the upper region of the park so plan accordingly.

We had time to kill on route to the airport so rather than go into the city centre we decided to stop here. Really pretty park with interesting caves and lakes. Nice little cafe where we stopped for a glass of wine. Food looked good too. Worth a visit.

The park is amazing. The caves give a magical atmosphere. Walking around is a delight. A good place to do picnics, take the sun, and off course, take pictures. I was walking near to the lake when a beautiful peacock surprised me. I had never seen a peacock without being in a cage. He was walking freely and happy eating dandelions. I was lucky to see him that day because when I went there the second time i couldn't.
I really recommend this park .

Children games, animals, caves, very nice restaurant inside the park, possibility to have a picnic, to play football or other games on the grass.

We stopped here to kill time before heading to Bordeaux airport. It was 36° so the shade of the woodland paths was very welcome. There are also lots of tree shaded lawns around the lake, so a great place for picnics.

We stopped on a wooden platform next to the lake to watch the coypu. A previous reviewer mentioned they are supposed to like eating raw potatoes, so we took some along. They remained untouched when we left after 15 minutes of trying to tempt them.

When we entered the grotto caves, 2 council workers stopped us to advise that we should watch our heads and use a torch or the light feature on our phones. Despite the warning, and the fact I'm v short, I still managed to crack my head very hard on one of the cave walls so be careful! Inside the caves there are tiny fairy lights embedded into the floors, shell framed arches and mirror mosaics on some of the walls - v pretty and magical.
We stopped in the peaceful little cafe before leaving - it serves hot and cold drinks (including beer and wine) and ice lollies. There's a co-operative garden / allotment next to the carpark where you can buy freshly picked vegetables.

What a lovely and surprising discovery to find adorable families of coypus called "ragondins" in French. From the enormous to the petite. They are a joy to feed and to see in the park environment. If you visit the parc make sure you take plenty of bread, chopped carrots and even a few raw potatoes. However beware if you are riding a bicycle to the park as the park security staff aren't as friendly as the animals. Bicycles should be left outside the park. Also the park is closed on tuesdays.

This is a pleasant park to the north of the city (take the 29 bus). It was a 19th century estate and still has some lovely "Romantic" grottoes. It also boasts a population of quite tame coypu who will come very close if you give them some apple!

Nice pretty parc with lac, artificial caves and walkside. The only negative point may be complexity to reach by public transportation.

Must admit being a little bit biased in reviewing this attraction near where I live ... a good recommendation for families to see this "Park with a twist in the tale". Suitable for both walkers and joggers, with a variety of interesting exhibits and a nice restaurant to finish off the trip.

Amazingly beautiful park with lots of walking routes and children's play areas. Caves were fun for the children. Take a bottle of water on a hot day as there is only 1 cafe at the entrance. Take done fruit for the small beaver type animals.
