We absolutely loved Apricale - from the moment we caught a first glimpse when coming around the mountain side from Dolceacqua. The town is stunning with a maze of artistic walkways that lead you to the best pasta you have ever tasted in the town...More

This small village is simple built up on a steep mountain side. It seems like hanging when you approach Apricale coming from Dolceacqua. Apricale is dating back to 12th century. It is a real mediaval town with old houses, narrow pathways, tunnels under the houses...More

Like an inferno during the day, parking difficult, had to reverse 300 metres uphill to allow a coach to pass, very difficult.

The village is cosy located against the mountain, so do expect some stairs, but good areas of shade to recover. Approximate 1H towel around and take some pictures and then several possibilities of a drink and nice meal.
