Old and uncomfortable

Ticket office, ski rental, restrooms, everything you need is here. Other than that, the gondola only carries 101 passengers and runs every 10 minutes. I do not know how many people gather around here normally but I got stuck in a long line a couple of times. A problem that many ski resorts in the EU have solved with more modern and better performing ropeways.
In addition, before you get to the gondola you have to hike on numerous steps and walk quite a while; which is also the case when you reach the top and trust me, long walks in your ski boots is not what you are really longing for

Snappy way up the mountain.

This is certainly an express way up any mountain. The wait is a little bit sometimes and if you miss one vehicle expect to be waiting up to half an hour. But overall a good experience.

Nice view and nothing much else
Aug 2019 • Couples
Took the rope way up and it was quite a hot day so the rope way car was quite empty, allowing us a good view up and down. Once on top , there wasn’t really much to see or explore , especially when it’s so hot and we need to quickly look for some shade.

Nice views

This place offers a nice view, great for pictures. There was a road for you to hike up further (we didn't) and a platform above the station to take some more photos. There are two binoculars which you can use for free.

You must take the ropeway! It is truly amazing. The majestic views and the glorious sceneries really take your breath away. Do remember to get the round trip though. 😂

Great convenience

Since it was -7 the day I was ski-ing. This was a great way to ski without the cold. It only takes less than 5 minutes to go from the base to the peak. It carries about 100 people.

Fantastic skiing

I just loved the Ropeway with 101 people fitting into 1 gondula.
even the frequency is not so fast it does not result in long waiting times.
The slopes are fantastic and prepared fresh every morning.
The thing I loved most is that it is possible to go off-piste with nobody complaining.
great skiing in between the beautiful birch trees forest.

Could be better

I found the ropeway to be the only disappointment of our trip, it can be frustrating waiting in the line up to then miss the cut off and have to wait for the next ride, you are certainly packed in tight with very little room to move and unfortunately due to condensation you never get to appreciate the remarkable views from this ride.

Fast and Friendly

I just love this place. A five minute journey (plus a short wait at the bottom and a short walk at the top) gets you some excellent altitude. In five days I wasn't close to getting sick of it. This place is underrated.
