This garden with the blooming flowers is so lovely. Even my hubby enjoyed viewing the many many different types of flowers and plants. Very well maintained garden and cottage.

Not as nice as the farms we visited
Sep 2016 • Family
We actually want to take the cable car but it was closing than earlier. So we went to this garden and finished it in like less than 30 min walking one round. Not really fascinated by it as the farms we went are much nicer. Its just our point view.

A beautiful garden to stroll around
Aug 2016 • Friends
Located right cross the New Prince Hotel, this garden was a filming location of famous Japanese TV drama – Kaze no Garden. It is a very beautiful garden to stroll around; you would have more feeling about this garden if you had seen that special Japanese TV drama. There are many different types of flowers and we also went down to the Rose garden and unfortunately it was not in their blooming season and the garden was under the maintenance.

Note:
1. It is a bit far away from the JR station, you need to take bus and get off at the New Prince Hotel. It takes about 30 min and costs about something around $2-$3, don’t remember exact amount, but not expensive. Only issue is you have to get the bus schedule to go back to JR Station if you are not stay in that town. The bus does not go back frequently, every 1 hour? Not too sure.

2. You need to pay 800 Japanese Yen entrance fee.

3. Put on mosquito repellent to protect yourself.

4. Inside the garden, there is a place to buy ice cream, and there is also a toilet facility.

Don't get cheated
Jul 2016 • Couples
I'm rather surprise that this location has a high rating as a must go destination. The location is so far away from the main station and the frequency of the bus is every 1 hour to new Furano Prince Hotel. The last bus depart from the hotel is around 4:30pm!!! You have to pay 800 yen for the entrance fee and the garden size is half a soccer field. Some of the plants are overgrown out of proportion. It looks more like a lump of different color flowers. Two plus points: you can get up close to the bees without being stung and the air is very fresh. However I wouldn't pay 800 yen to breath fresh air, not to mention the time and cost in traveling to the hotel. If you want to make the trip more exciting, try renting a bicycle and cycle to this location. On the way back to the town, you will enjoy the ride more!

Beautiful garden, but give "light up" a miss
Jul 2015 • Couples
We were there at 6pm and kinda excited about the "light-up" (illumination). But actually the garden looks a lot nicer under the sun. There are lots of flowers blooming (and lots of blood-sucking bugs, so wear insect repellent) and it's worth visiting. There's also a rose garden at the back that we didn't go (because of the bugs). It's very different from rows of the same flowers as in Tomita Farm.

look like a very secret garden, deep inside the forest.
May 2015 • Solo
Access : take a lavender bus from furano staiion (about 250 yen) get off at new furano prince hotel. Then take a van to the forest garden (700 yen).

Deep inside the forest, yes : it's windy .
The wind smell, the wind sound, bird sound all of these healing me for good.
Litte hut or shop in the end of the garden was so cute.
I love to stay here for all day long.

this place may please only the one who truly love the nature.
Because nothing to do much , just take a walk, take a breath for good health.

love this place

Waste of my time
Aug 2014 • Friends
I was really disappointed with this garden. Maybe it was the summer season and everything was green and flowers were scarce. I come from a country without four seasons and everything is always green. So travelling all the way here to the New Prince Hotel (20 mins bus, 250 yen) and paying 500 yen entry fee just to see more green stuff is not exactly the most exciting activity for me.

When I realised it was a waste of time and wanted to leave, the next bus out of the Furano Prince Hotel was another 1.5 hours away (OMG). I walked through the souvenir shop like 3 times, explored everything there was to see at the hotel and even wanted to go on the hot air balloon (which wasn't open at that time). Luckily after chatting with the staff he directed me to Ningle Terrace which was this collection of shops in the forest so I had some activity to while the time away before the bus out of this hotel came.

Maybe the garden looks prettier during other seasons but no, don't go there in summer.

Pretty English country garden
Oct 2014 • Solo
A very enjoyable stroll through a lovely garden atypical to the Japanese garden. Good use of planting and borrowed landscape. Even in the late months they still managed to include colour, texture and rhythm

The best flower garden!
Aug 2014 • Family
Yes, we come to this site for we loved that specific Japanese TV series. The garden turns out to be even more beautiful than our expectation. It is well designed, quite and peaceful, and worth a very good stroll in the evening for us. Compared to the awesome flower farms in Furano, this garden presents the more dedicate beauty of flower in summer. The decoration inside the white house also gives a nice contrast to the outdoor garden. We did enjoy our time here! A little pricy, but well worth it.
