Cheezy bitez!
Nov 2019
Besides cheese, get your hands on some tasty pizza for lunch. You can also get delicious ice creams and cheese cakes for those who have sweet-tooth.

Nothing much
Dec 2019
Aside from the cheese tasting, there’s nothing much here. Quiet place with not many visitors. The cheese and milk ice-cream was only average. They do sell food like pizzas and coffee here. And the location is quite out of the way. Took a cab from furano marche which takes about less than ten min to get here. To get out, you have to ask the staff to help to call for a cab as it is pretty deserted with not much traffic. Staff was friendly and helpful though.

Enjoyed the butter-making class
Aug 2019
It was raining the day we went and instead of going to the Tomita Lavender Farm, we had someone at the Tourist Center at Furano Station make a reservation for us for the Furano Cheese Factory cheese making and butter making classes. We took a cab there and arrived in 10-15 minutes. I thought the displays and sample cheeses were interesting. The "teacher" who was in charge of the butter making class couldn't speak English, but I understand Japanese so I had no problem understanding her. There was a teacher in charge of the cheese making class who was able to speak some English so my sister said she was quite helpful.

Ok

Not much of a factory. You walk along a corridor and then reach the shop area to taste and buy cheese products . The garden outside is nice.

Variety of options
Jul 2019 • Couples
Easily accessible location, good parking. 4 things to see, eat and do. Cheese factory, dairy activities... make butter, ice cream etc, pizza restaurant and ice cream shop and production.
Cheeses were great, great variety of produce to buy and eat or send.
Pizza restaurant appealed but had 45 minute wait and no seating so we just had an icecream... great sherbet and was nice and tasty. Thanks

Just a cheese shop, but how can you miss this anyway?
Jun 2019 • Family
Like other reviewers have said, this is really just a cheese shop. But how can you justify missing this place while you're in the area? And it's really quite fun to browse the products, sample the cheeses and buy the cute little glass bottles of fresh milk. The cheeses here all must be refrigerated though, so if you intend to buy anything back, bring your own cooler bag and ice packs. (They charge for that.)

I went for the ice-cream and cheese-making classes, which were simple and quite fun to try. (You don't need to know Japanese to understand the instructions.)

There is also a pizzeria which has huge glass windows looking out to trees, which is a very pretty scene.

The first day I went to the cheese factory, there was no cheese-making demonstration - the window just showed some balls of onion cheese soaking in a salt solution - but the second day I went, a cheese maker was kneading balls of mozzarella cheese out of what looked like loose curds. That was interesting.

There is also a model of a cow which you could really milk for 1 min and 30 seconds if you inserted a 100 yen coin into the slot. It will even moo loudly when you insert the coin. Great fun for kids.

Cheese Pizza,
Jun 2018 • Family
A cheese Factory located at Furano. This place offer you to see the process on how they make Cheese. at 1st floor, you can see the production line and the 2nd floor they sell food that made from the cheese. There is free tasting for the cheese too. If you walk to behind the factory, there is pizza stall and ice cream shop. You have to try the pizza, it taste good, it cost around 1000 yen. Behind the pizza store, there will be a shop that sell ice cream.
