We went on a safari booked via our travel company and it was amazing. We saw deer, countless elephants, king fishers, crocodiles and buffalo. Definitely worth the early start and the scenery is fantastic.

Depending on where you are staying this is definitely a day trip. We arrived just after lunch and didn't leave until 5pm Amazing day with lots to see. Many elephant, deer, crocs, peacocks and the scenery is stunning! A wonderful experience!

It took us about 5-6 hours but the scenery was beautiful driving through the mountains, Ella which is enroute is stunning.

Well,if you are looking for leopards then go for a Yala , Lunugamwehera or Wilpattu NPs.UW has very rare leopard sightings.Beatifically UW is for larger herds of Elephants & some birds too.December is a rainy season for... More
