Pulled in here on journey out . Nice and picturesque and you can walk along the bridge from one end of Wier to the other. Downside - loads flies!

The weir bridge was closed bc of maintenance however we took the weir walk which took about an hour as indicated on the map at the parking area. The walk was marked out with yellow markers and passed the mundaring weir pub. Passed wild kangaroos...More

Dam is a must do in Perth hills and pump station for pipeline to Kalgoorlie really interesting history. Then to the local pup to recap over a beer and nice meal at the pub.

Came here with the wife and young child for a bit of a look around, there was play equipment and bbq area, with the weir at the bottom. Good spot to have a picnic and spend some time with the family.
