Came here with the wife and young child for a bit of a look around, there was play equipment and bbq area, with the weir at the bottom. Good spot to have a picnic and spend some time with the family.

Well worth a visit to the weir and to explore west of Perth. Good signage that explains the history of the place.

Drove out to visit Mundaring Weir and they had locked access to it well before the said 5pm closing time for the dam. The dam has gates that bar access to it after 5pm.. was pretty disappointing. Long drive for pretty much not much chop....More

Get a GPS and take your motorbike for a day long wander around the tracks of Beelu National Park. There is everything from beginner graded roads to advanced Adventure Touring offload tracks.
