This lovely castle seems to be in a fairy tale; it's really too beautiful to be true, right in a green nook of the English countryside. The ONLY problem is to GET there when you don't drive, but it's WORTH IT

Hello - if you intend on visiting a few National Trust sites it is worth while becoming a member. Individual membership $69 per year, couple is $114 and family is $120 per year.

No, it's too steep at the edges. The grounds are lovely for children to run about in though
