Stunning gardens and a beautiful castle to visit. Perfect for a weekend stroll and picnic in the summer time. This is up there as one of my favourite National Trust gems. Recommend it to anyone.

Lovely place to visit, very peaceful. The cafe is a great set up and the staff were lovely. I will visit more often.

This is one of the most beautiful and well designed Natiinal Trust gardens in the area. It is extremely well looked after and constantly being upgraded. There is so much to see and is open to all ages and abilities. Really worth going to see....More

No, it's too steep at the edges. The grounds are lovely for children to run about in though

Yes plenty of lovely long walks. dogs must be kept on a lead
