A wonderful day out and I'd highly recommend it if you're in the nearby area. The monastery is very imposing and steeped in history.

The monks make their own perfume and chocolate to sell on the island. The free video tells you a lot about their lives there. No access to the monastery itself though.

What a beautiful building to see from the outside. We saw it on a beautiful sunny day and the island and building had a real calming feel! Highly recommend!

Incredible building and you have the chance to see the Monks pray in their own church. Visit all of the island to get a feel of the place.
