An extraordinary place. We've been several times and enjoy just walking round, looking at the houses and taking in the atmosphere. We regularly take people who come to stay with us and they always enjoy it too.

Excellent historical place to visit. Social housing v interesting provided by Titus Salt and of course the mill itself which is now an art gallery with a hige space for David Hockney. Great pubs and walks along the canal.

Very animal friendly around the village but notice signs to pick up after the animal does it's business. Most bar, food places and the mill have a sign guide dogs only.
