very nice place with wonder road. excellent view. strongly recommended. it is a must see at Hamedan.a nice recreational area, but it is abit far away from the city. you should take a taxi.

Two inscriptions carved into the rock face, one by Darius and ond by his son Xerxes. Both in three languages but almost identical in wording differing only in the name and genealogy .of each ruler. Very interesting;

The area is now a leisure place for people as there is a waterfall and cable car established around the mountain. The two adjacent inscriptions are worth visiting

this place shows the how big was the Iran empire and beside this master piece, you can have an adventure in Alvand mountain, Don't forget to test some walnuts there.

its fun to see how people hanging around this historic place with their family and friend . there is a nice waterfall there and also the ganjname inscription of Darius and Xerxes two powerful achamenid king

I loved the ancient inscriptions and enjoyed the waterfall, but the mountain was a little tiring, we had so much difficulty finding a parking place and it was over-crowded. I recommend you to go there just to see the inscriptions, not other places.

It takes 20-30 mins to get here from Hamedan. The road is nice, you drive up for a hill to the Alvand mountains. This historical spot is free of charge. There are other things that you can do that costs such as the rollercoster, telecabin...More
