Not much to do in the river, but the city where is located (Ahwaz) is beautiful and full of history. Used to be Iraq many, many years ago and used to belong to Elam people. These people were mentioned in the Bible during Pentecosts day.

It's only a muddy river which is drying, but its the longest and largest river of Iran with almost 7 bridges. I suggest to cross the river by one of these brigdes 1) Suspended bridge 2) Cable bridge

It's only a river, that's going to dry, but if you are visiting ahvaz, it only takes a few minutes, to see it.

warm and hospitable people .the river side and view from park nearby are great for taking photo,taking rest and if you like smoke Shisha! at night the bridges will be colorful and amazing so dont miss a chance and ahave fun there .
