Made use of the available sunny day to explore the Armadale region. This was the biggest dam that was open. Took a walk and could see the mist rising from the water surface.

Canning Dam is a nice place to visit, it's about a 10 minute drive south east of Araluen Botanic Park. We approached the dam from the Brookton Highway southern entrance and parked in the open parking area near the dam wall. Nice set of stairs...More
