We are avid hikers and this is possibly the most spectacular trail we have done in our life. Carved along the wall of the canyon, the views just cannot be described. Long but technically easy, it is an absolute must. Add this to your bucket...More
Strongly recommend the trip to Cares to hike the 20km route (return). It is very easy to walk and beautiful no see. Need to visit early in the morning to escape the heat and crowd. Best to visit in september or june (off season).
The path from Poncebo to Cain is 12 km.
The first 2 km is going up. After that straight ahead with the most amazing views.
The path is easy to walk if you are in reasenable condition.
