Very variet ski-area in the Dolomites- vall di Femme. With 18 lifts and about 50-60km’s a nice place fo go skiing. It is a very wide area so it feels much bigger. Also in school-holiday only very short waiting time at the lifts.

I was skiing here during a press trip, The Ski Centre Latermar area is the biggest out of the 5 areas in Val di Fiemme. I skied a full day from Predazzo to Obereggen for lunch and then back again with the guide. The conditions were very cloudy and the visibility was not always that great, so we stayed down low. Great skiing area though and there was a lot to do.

The Latemar ski area connects 3 villages (Predazzo, Pampeago and Obereggen), offering a good mix of skiing difficulties, including black slopes, magnificent landscapes and a nice snowpark with half pipe and jumps. There are also a good number of restaurants and huts to cater for all needs.

What can I say? This was quite simply marvellous the mountain offers various tracks from ones for small children to ones that bring you almost to the very top of the mountain, the views are breath-taking the paths are (for the most part) large and easy to walk on. Now the route that I took is called latemar UNESCO which is marked as "for experts only" in my opinion this is grossly over-estimated, it's not suited for children I will tell you that much but an adult that barely does any exercise can make it, and believe me the views are well worth the trek in fact bring a camera with you because it'll be amazing. You can reach through this path "forcella dei camosci" I don't know a suitable translation so take my word for it there you will find a plain where you can have a picnic staring at the mountains, If you don't want to bring food with you because is too heavy or for whatever reason you'll find a "restaurant" near by but be warned it's pricey my last bit of advice is this bring something like a jacket because up top it's freezing cold. All in all it's a must if you find yourself near it.
