We visited Monte Mare primarily for diving. We only paid a short visit to the sauna area.
Location: Its a bit inconvenient to get to Monte Mare with puvlic transport (low frequency trains and for the bus, we would have needed to call a number...)....More
In my humble opinion, it’s a definitely proper place to relax.
We usually come before 10.00 o’clock, lend bathing gowns and sauna towels (6/5 Euro each), change and start working out in a large swimming pool (25 meters long). If you come later, it will...More
Nice place to dive and refresh diving knowledge when it's too cold to dive outside (we are warm water divers :-)...)
It's very crowdy during the holidays, so you have to dive between many other divers, don't forget to book to be sure to access...More
Great place for you to get rid of your kids for 3 hours and get on with your life.
Many swimming platforms in/outdoor plus a good fast/slow food restaurant. Good professionals. Nice store in case you forgot some tools for the kids. Great fake waves...More
very nice place to do sport and relax at the same time.
Pool (indoor and outdoor), Sauna and even for diving.
That is really great place with great restaurant as well

Perfect place for children to spend a hot summer day. A lot of pools and fun stuff. In rest not everything is per, a little overcrowded and the food is poor cheap nuggets but for the children is prefect. And that is all is important.

This place is undoubtedly good for families with young children, but for a couple just looking to relax, I would suggest somewhere else.
They have many pools, water slides, scuba diving, sauna, somewhere to eat, etc., but the multitude of screaming kids playing football is...More
We spent an afternoon here the day after arrivial. It was a nice & relaxing experience after a long flight from the U.S. The Monte Mare is a surprising luxury oasis in an otherwise smaller and quaint German town (also my fiance's home town) Of...More
