I’ve stayed here a few times and it’s a lovely little town. Lovely for a short stroll through the pretty little streets. A nice selection of excellent restaurants.

My only regret is not being able to return..but we will. We actually happened on the town because we had dinner plans in the town. This is one of those Tuscan towns that youwant to walk through and feel like you're a local. Gave it...More

Lovely small village. Parking almost impossible. Parking areas fill up fast. Not much going on here, but very nice restaurants and a few shops. Enjoy the quaintness of this town....

Every time we stay in the Tuscany region we can't help but return to this amazing town. Although there's really not much to do, but the restaurants in this town serve up some of the best food in the region.

Last September I had my 12th visit to San Donato in Poggio. I use to compare it to San Gimignano but without the crowd of tourists. Two bars, where people of all ages mix, four restaurants, of which one - Palazzo Pretoria - is very...More

Make sure you stay at Terrace de Chianti, see my review and others and you'll have a great time. This is a lovely, friendly and great base to tour around the whole of Tuscany.

We stayed in this village in September for six nights. Quiet, quaint, beautiful. Away from the crowds with the added benefit of being very conveniently located to all the sights.
