The detail and preservation is amazing still with original timbers intact and gallery style area makes this one of the more interesting buildings I have visited

This is not one of the best buildings in the town to see but it is worth seeing as it is double height

The Samnite House is one of the oldest buildings in Herculaneum. It dates back to 2nd century b.c. Unfortunately it was closed at the time of my visit so I was able to take just a peek thru the door but from what I saw...More
