This is the standard shortish walk from the town centre of Alquezar. Because we are in our mid-70s and have wonky knees we were advised correctly to walk down the path from the main cafe street outside the old town and return up the gorge....More

The path we took brought us to the river but passing thru very unlevel areas. Definitely would bring a walking stick, good hiking shoes. I would list it as a moderate level rather than the easy listed in the pamphlet. I would not bring children...More

I went on this walk with a tour group that stayed in Alquézar. It’s steep going down but a relatively short walk that provides wonderful views of the gorge and the village. I highly recommend pairing this walk with a walk around the village and...More

Beautiful views of the cliffs, waterfalls and river. Took us a couple of hours to complete this relatively easy hike.

Stunning walk and so well maintained. One of Europe’s hidden gems. Breathtaking views the whole way around.

It's worth a try just because of the passarelas. We never have done that before. The hike takes about 1 and a half hours. Some impressive views but not so much. I guess we were still contaminated by the exuberance of the National Park of...More

This hike was such a treat. It’s not that difficult but it has its moments. The nature is beautiful and picturesque as are the views. Just enjoy what is a really well kept up simple easy hike in a beautiful place.

Found the descent into the canyon quite difficult as the path kept disappearing so quite dangerous in many places. However once down the footpaths and walkways are now being installed and are very good.

Nice walk by the river , specially in summer, and don't forget to take your swimsuit for a nice dive in the river. The footbridge is perfectly safe, in some places is a bit narrow so if someone's coming the other way you'l have to...More
