Purchased general tickets to view the Penguin Parade. Sat to the right of the stadium for better viewing. Beautiful 30 degree clear day with a 3/4 moon so had to wait some time for the night to be dark enough for the penguins to come...More

I have got a tour to Phillip Island from Melbourne - in fact it is quite a trip to to there. In the way, I could see some of Australia landscape, lots of farms, vegetation and animals. In the Island, there is a place to...More

Was the first time that I saw the pinguins in the natural habitat. When they come from the ocean we think that will be only some pinguins, but when you see the quantity, it’s like a dream. Congratulations for this beautiful preservation work. No photos...More

Enjoyed spending an evening with the cutest little penguins! Even tinier than expected they are a joy to see running from the water only to be washed back down. There is also boardwalk viewing, which is incredible. The entry paid is well worth it and...More

The day we went was Valentines Day which meant the ‘Penguin Plus’ option ( better views, better seats etc) was sold out. The General Viewing area is disappointing. Not helped, it had to be said by people who do not listen to the Rangers and...More

We did the Ultimate Tour. In summary, this entailed us (max group size is 10) being taken to a secluded beach armed with earpieces and collapsible seats where we sat and waited for the penguins to come ashore. Sitting quietly on the beach in the...More

Too many people and too commercialised and therefore a big disappointment. There was so much noise from all the overseas tourists that I’m surprised the penguins came out of the sea at all and as it was, we hardly saw any. It would be much...More

Although it is very touristy, it is very nice and cute to see the penguins. Also, the wait was kind of long as you have to be present on the beach to get good spots well before sunset. Unfortunately it started raining when we there...More

A great day out with hotel pick up and drop off. It's a long day, but well worth it. Our driver, Dane, gave a running commentary, pointing out the range of wildlife on the way. An interesting stop at the koala rescue centre was included....More

No there is no other way to see the Penguins on Phillip Island. We recommend booking ahead at the Parade at this time of year as it can book out on busy nights.

h there do a guided tour. Under cover is great if raining, but seeing them form a raft, and then get a run up, get nervous and rung back to the water is the best.
