On a warm and sunny day it took me an hour to climb via the pathway of stone slabs to get three quarters of the way to the monument. The last quarter is over rougher terrain. Once there (there were ten others there on my...More

A good vantage point on the Pennine way, equidistant from Todmorden and Hebden Bridge. A short walk from the Top Brink pub and, en route to Hebden 100 yards down the slope, the best spring water in Todmorden

Great walks up to and around Stoodley Pike, and great views from the ridge it sits upon overlooking Todmorden, Hebden Bridge and the Calder Valley. You can go about 1/4 way up the tower itself up some quite dark steps (torch/phone light useful) to a...More

The views from the top are amazing. A hike for locals and travellers alike. Nearby is shepards rest and top brink for a beer or a brew after a good walk.

Various ways up to the monument on the top of Stoodley Pike. A steep climb is the most direct route from London rd, but you can also walk a more gentle route up .The views from the top are fantastic and well worth the walk.
