Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The place is nice and completely worth your visit! You can park along the road for free or if no place continue more far in the city and park for 1,50 per hour. The places was a bit crowded but manageable. Entrance to the natural bagni was free. We found on internet also possibility to go and enjoy pool and Spa in Therme San Fillipo (hotel and spa complex), however it turns out it is permanently closed since 5 years (as advised by personnel in the nearby osteria).

Fantastic place. Very crowded, but there are several tanks and ravines where you can enjoy this hot thermal water. Attention, in the small valley of the San Filippo thermal baths there are natural pools to the right and left of the road that descends into the valley. And there's a temperature difference between tub and tub. There are tanks with temperatures even at 40 degrees. Very beautiful scenery of the white whale where thermal water flows channeled from above. Ultimately, a suggestive place to visit and return. Even in winter.

A nice place to relax despite the rather unpleasant water bottom. The water is very hot and the smell is not that terrible. The view is beautiful, but avoid peak hours and go in the morning. Otherwise, the world will stop you from swimming

Fantastic place, with 48-degree spring water, sulfur base...
The pools in which you immerse yourself give you an enveloping warm feeling is total well-being.
I highly recommend it, anke x cure certain pains.

Unfortunately the photos from some time ago are a memory. Taken over by an association that charges entry, construction site fences delimit this or that for no reason, disfiguring the area with endless signs reminding people of payment. Fences which, among other things, limit the usable area by concentrating bathers in a few meters. Little and almost cold water, probably some of it diverted to the hotel

Unfortunately I didn't find the usual place from years ago!
A wonderful place like this, it was truly a shame to find it so neglected!
The water is no longer as warm as it was years ago, the pools are smaller, there is a construction site fence (half broken) that delimits the source to the woods, and what's more, from this year you also have to pay two euros to access .There is a lady at the entrance in a half-arranged gazebo, who upon payment issues bracelets to wear once you are inside. We were really disappointed! Finding such a beautiful place managed really badly and having the courage to even get paid!
I really don't think I'll go back, I'll be more happy to go back to Saturnia, which is without comparison much better looked after.
Sin!

I came back here because I had a wonderful memory of more than ten years ago, unfortunately the place now has a fee (€2, 1 euro for entry and another euro with the excuse of an identification bracelet), but this wouldn't be a problem if somehow whoever collects the money would do something to safeguard the area. Instead what I saw was neglect, and the water level has significantly decreased and so has the temperature. Unfortunately the place has gotten worse.

Went there mainly because of good reviews... luckily there was still a parking space... Even before you get to the entrance it smells (read stinks) of sulphur..
You have to pay €2 per person... then you can continue....
It was very busy... many people were sitting in the dirty water... you can hardly take pictures of the beautiful springs without people... we walked around for a while... but we thought it was a shame that there were so many people. ..and it was especially disappointing because of that...we left soon enough...

The thermal pools are not free (although they may have been in the past). You pay for parking as well as €2 pp entrance.
It was not crowded when we were there today (probably due to cooler autumn weather). I would not want to be there when it’s crowded. All seemed a bit gritty, but looks good from the sideline

We visited the Bagni on a hot August day. Although we were on a day in the middle of the week, we found a certain crowd, which did not allow us to fully enjoy the suggestive surrounding environment.
The worst thing is the payment of 2 euros, in force from this year, due to new management by an association, which claims to keep the place clean and safe. The barriers ruin the scenery, as well as being very dangerous in some places! For goodness sake, it's not for the 2 euros, but I don't think it's right to charge to see a ruined place with bathrooms made out of containers (useless in my opinion in a place like this) and furthermore unusable for most of the day, "service" of waste collection (also unusable, due to the laziness of the association delegates, who invite you to throw your rubbish in the bins of the bar at the entrance to the forest), iron barriers that are dangerous and hideous to look at.
In some places the water is very hot, but it is not easy to access.
In essence it is a place that deserves to be redeveloped and protected, perhaps starting with the removal of the association.
