This old redone city was just a gem. Quite small but a gem of a Etruscan Museum can be found and is well worth the small price of admission.
Surprise detour on our road trip through Tuscany. The Etruscan museum was small but informative. Pretty mindblowing what those guys were capable of 2500 years ago. Only downside is that about half the info isn't translated to English. Otherwise a great stop!
This IS Toscany! Wonderful cities, with a lot of culture and experiences. Good food, good vine and I've only met friendly and helpful locals.
Murlo is a small village on top of a hill. It has an amazing Etruscan museum and there is a lovely rustic restaurant there as well. We visited the museum and loved it. The restaurant was also very good.
Just Tuscany. Wine, cheese, olive (but not this year), landscapes, history, friendly people, Siena...
Nice hills and and classical Tuscan landscape. It is worth a stop because there are few food restaurants, too .
I liked the houses and the passion for keeping the historical heritage. The simple beauty of this little community is a rare thing to find.
