One of the oldest historical masjid in the country. This photo was used in 50 taka note in Bangladesh. It's design is still alive and tells the quality of work.

It is located near Rajshahi city, 90 mins car drive appx. This is a historical mosque with many notations. There is a big pond outside of the mosque, which enhances its beauty.

A nice mosque worth the stop. Although some might skip this, I wouldn't though if you like architecture and that religious feel. Anything old gets my vote

The mosque is noteworthy for its exquisite terracotta ornamentation. It is interesting to note that the additional prayer chamber created by means of a raised platform in the north-west corner within the building appears to have been an exclusive gallery for the governor who ruled...More

We've all seen lovely mosques - either in real life in pictures. This is not one of the most impressive ones around but it is a nice detour if you are otherwise on your way to/from Rajshahi. There is at least on tout cruising the...More

You can visit the mosque and find the Muslim ancestry history of Bengal. Near to Rajshahi city. I travel to Rajshahi by train from Dhaka. Regular flight is there. But airport is 10 miles from city. so you must arrange car before reaching there.

Actually there is local market besides Bagha Mosque. But if you are asking about Rajshahi New Market, you have to avail local bus services or rented car or your own transport. :-D
