Having grown up in Kanpur in an era when there were no malls, multiplexes, this temple used to be a place to visit when I was a child. The temple is one of the best I have been to. The temple is commonly known as J K Temple in Kanpur and one of the most famous landmark in the city of Kanpur. It still seems to be rather well maintained, hough I feel that it used to be maintained better in old times. Located in very good accessible location in Kanpur, it is still one of the best places to visit for a cool and calm visit.
The temple itself is a beautiful structure made mainly from marble and main deity are Lord Krishna and Radha ji.

Today one can see lots of fabulous and rich temples in India. But this temple has seen the era when there were only few rivals. Complete marble work. Very beautiful belongs to lord Krishna and radha. In front there is vast garden. Campus has two gates one from gumti side(main gate) and other from rave moti side(back side). But car parking is available only on front gate but you have to walk at least 300 meters. While back gate no car parking but only 100 meter walk. Timings are 8am to 12noon and 4 pm to 8pm. Never dare to go during janmastami, very very crowded. Camera and mobile allowed in campus but not inside temple building. Good luck and happy visit....

I have been to Kanpur several times, most recently last year. Though the city has changed slowly, its ignorance towards cleanliness continues to give it its dubious distinction compared to even Tier-2 towns of Uttar Pradesh.

However, Shri RadhaKrishna Temple (also known as JK Temple) apart from its religious and spiritual reverence has become a mark of defiance against what's normal and acceptable to the city.

Built by JK Trust in 1960s (if I am right), it is a structure that stands out in 2 ways.
1. It i probably the most well maintained and clean public place in the city.
2. It blends ancient design with the best of modern architecture.

Consisting of 5 shrines, the main being dedicated to Radha and Lord Krishna, this temple provides peace and calmness to its devotees and visitors. Surrounded by sprawling lawn and water fountain, the temple is a great place for worship, spiritual tour or just for an evening with family.

A must see in the city of Kanpur!

It is the best attraction of Kanpur city. Since i belong to Kanpur so i had been visiting this place from childhood. It is spread in a very big area with plenty of green gardens across the Temple area. Yes visiting temple is related to faith but still alot of people visit this temple to relax and chit chat in the garden area. Also one can have a very nice view of the temple at night since it lights up with colours and anyone can see it from the rooftop of a place nearby giving a beautiful view.

Since i live on 6th floor and get a gr8 view of the temple at night.

We visited the temple in the evening when a group was singing bajans. It was pleasant and great to hear. The temple managed by JK organization is unique, clean and reasonably noise free.
Radhe and Krishna took us back in time.
The temple is worth visiting and definitely a place of worship

Famous tourist attraction also known as JK Temple; it is located in the industrial and commercial city of Kanpur, UP.
The J. K. Trust has constructed this temple, the temple has five shrines dedicated to the
1.Lord Radha and Krishna
2.Lord Lakshmi and narayan
3.Lord Ardhanarishwar
4.Lord Narmadeshwar
5.Lord Hanuman
There is park and beautiful lake near the temple which looks wonderful at night when lights are on.
You can see majority of families celebrating their family events in the evening time at the Temple premises.
People come here for walks, yoga and other curricular activities. Every evening bhajan sabha (prayer session) is organized in the community hall of the temple.
Good to visit the temple in the evening time.

Shri Radhakrishna Temple aka J K Temple is well known tourist spot in Kanpur. Located at the heart of Kanpur. It is beautiful from inside as it looks from outside. Its better to go in early morning or after sunset.
Outside the temple, there we have bread/butter and Butter milk vendors and should not missed it if your going there.
