Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This temple might seem insignificant at first but wait till you get to know the history of this place. This temple is much older than the Jagannath temple in Puri, Orissa. Once you get to talk with the priest there, you will be amazed by the facts shared by him. If you plan to visit then definitely talk to the priest there to get to know the place better. He is an extremely polite and knowledgeable person.
And yes did I tell you that the roof of the temple can predict when the monsoons are due to arrive and their strength as well?

Jagannath Temple - this is around 3 kms from this Terracota temple. This temple hosts Lord Jagannath made on rock and quite tall - around 7 feet on a pedestal. The temple is quite different with dome like structure and is known for a rare phenomenon. The temple stones in the sanctum starts seeping water before the monsoon begins signalling the arrival of monsoon. This helps the villagers in planning their seed sowing activities. The amount of water droplets also gives a measure of how much monsoon rains can be expected.

Jagannath temple is ancient and is said to built around 600 BCE by Samrat Harshavardhana. The uniqueness is in the architecture of the temple lies in the unorthodox structure.

I visited this Site on 22 Sep 2019. This ancient historical Lord Jagannath temple situated in Baheta village (3km to Bhiantargaon block headquarter) 45 km from Kanpur city. Road is good, there are two way to reach here from Kanpur city.
This temple is famous for it's typical features of this temple is that some drops of rain begin driping on its roof seven days before rain.
Although many times efforts have been made to know this secret, even after all the surveys, the archeological scientists could not find the exact timing of the temple’s construction and mystery. It's believe that the temple was built during Samraat Harshverdhan because on the corner of temple you will find some unique design (see pics) which we found his periods other monuments. It is only possible to find that the last restoration of the temple was done in the 11th century.
