This is one of my favourite local places. It’s just beautiful. If you love a nice walk with lots of wildlife then this would be perfect for you.

Decent place to go for a walk with kids. Ponds etc clean from rubbish. Car park etc. Shame they put a railway line straight through middle if it all.More

long walk great for dogs or tiring kids out lol! took us about 1hr to walk to the pond (but we were doing a steady walk so not rushing) and same back again! we spend about an hour pond dipping which my daughter enjoyed.

Lovely nature place nice walk down you can see different sorts of birds,butterflies,dragonflies sometimes rid deer as well!

A beautiful natural haven within easy walking distance of Goole Town Centre. The Friends of Oakhill have done a fantastic job protecting this area from industrial encroachment and organise regular themed events to suit young and old alike. Examples are pond dipping and fungi forays....More

The area itself is outstanding and diverse but we attended a 'Friends or Oakhill' event (Not very friendly I have to say) and their people skills are somewhat lacking as they all seemed to just wonder off and do their own thing leaving us visitors...More
