Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

An incredibly informative and well maintained museum. We were floored by the expanse of information, near perfect artefacts and scope in which this museum covered. It felt that every aspect of Te Aroha and it’s history was covered.

In speaking with the wonderful staff at the museum, we were informed that the exhibitions change regularly. We were delighted to hear this as it reflects the passion behind the staff and the town but also gives us a reason to come back!

10/10 recommend a visit!

Beautiful big old building full of well presented articles and furniture from back in the day. Good information telling the story of early settlers. Very inexpensive entry fee and friendly staff on hand to welcome and answer any questions. A must see in my opinion when visiting the area.

On arrival we were shown a video explaining the history of the baths which was very interesting. There are plenty of items on display given the size of the town. The greeter was very friendly and clearly enthusiastic about the contents of the museum. At only $5 it is definitely worth a visit.

In the first school holidays since we moved to Te Aroha we took our grandkids here they were 12 and 10. They loved it the lady gave them a paper with things to find which they tried to beat each other finding at the end she gave them a book mark. So was a great place to spend some time at and look at the history of Te Aroha.
