Amazing beach lovey water. The sunbeds are expensive €18- €20 for 2 sunbeds a table and a parasol.
When we go back in October we will buy a parasol as it can get pricey if you go to the beach several times.

Perfect beach with clear water and stunning views, good for couples and families also good for a nice evening stroll. One of the best bits is watching the small plane taking off and landing from the cafe on the cliff beside the beach,. I'm sure the pilot does it on purpose because Everytime he lands it really looks like he's going to crash into the cliff but obviously it doesn't but it will definitely have you feeling trepidation when you see it . Brilliant

Pefkos beach was very close to our hotel and the sea was really beautiful in the morning. Pebbles and not just sand, so bring your shoes. An umbrella and two deckchairs cost €25 on the shore and €20 from the second row, prices are the same everywhere.
Ample parking available, many restaurants and shops just a few meters away.
The only flaw is that in the afternoon, with the passing of the boats, the water had become slightly dirty but really nothing major.
Really very beautiful beach

Sandy beach, comfortable and equipped. A bar that does a bit of everything.
1 umbrella and 2 sunbeds € 20 well spent.
Under the umbrella a small box for valuables.
A relaxing day
Beautiful water

Lovely beach all round
The sea is warm and the sand is soft
There are sun loungers and umbrellas that you can use for free
There is a cafe next to the beach that serves every nice food
However the car park is quite hard to find
Overall I would recommend visiting

Fantastic place with a scene beyond the usual. Located a nice drive from everything but is worth the trip. Has both west and east facing beach, to great pleasure for surfers the environment that is fixed inventar on the large sandy beach. There is also a sun lounge area on the east side, for those who need it. There is plenty of opportunity to buy daily necessities or food at the beach taverns. We'll be clearly back.

Just returned from our second visit to beautiful Pefkos and my what a difference in the main beach from 2023 ! Sadly the beach has now been taken over by greedy sunbed sellers who have put as many beds as possible on this beautiful beach ( we heard the sellers say that there was now over 300 beds ).

Firstly, there is no real space for anyone who actually wants to sit on the sand without purchasing a bed, sunbeds have been put everywhere, even rammed at the back under the natural shade of the trees, we witnessed a young family "asking" the sunbed sellers if they could put towels down on the shoreline, his response, a dismissive wave of his hand and a glare. At the weekend we noticed several sunbeds were turned onto their sides and then were turned back when friends of the sellers arrived. If a sunbed is vacated before the end of the day and then another couple come and take it, we often heard the seller say "charge them the money but don't give a ticket"

Secondly, health and safety is not important here, I collected 5 pieces of glass, take a look at the attached pictures of nails sticking up from a beach table, very, very uneven decking, how can buggies be pushed or elderly walk along this and then the board sticking up by the shower, shocking !

Thirdly, these sunbed sellers also get food for you, if you want it and bring it down to you on the beach, however, they are not so keen to clear the dirty plates, glasses and left over food ( yes glasses, on a beach ) etc away, every morning there is an array of dirty plates etc left on the beach which attracts flies !

It is just so sad what has happened to this lovely beach, however I also want to clarify that this does NOT affect the beautiful part of the beach at the bottom of Flyers Restaurant and by the water sports, this is kept meticulously clean and is cleaned every day and kept very tidy.

Pefki beach is magnificent with its fine golden sand, it was almost empty during our stay, deserted following the fires. In fact, most tourists have fled the island of Rhodes which made this beach ideal because it is magnificent. This crowded beach should not be so idyllic because it is very narrow and we were told that it was overcrowded in July and August. Too bad the price of beach deckchairs is prohibitive (25Euros) and invades the entire beach. The sea view restaurants (near the beach) are very high quality and of course more expensive than more family-friendly places like Stegna.
The rest of the city is mostly filled with restaurants that are a little too bright, noisy and not very authentic! Pefki is ideally placed for visiting Lindos.

The beach itself is lovely, water is crystal clear and the nearby cafe does some good food very reasonably priced. Sadly at 25 Euros a day for 2 sun beds it's just too pricey for what it is - apparently the people who were inflating the prices of sunbeds in Mykonos were kicked out by the government and have now descended onto Pefkos, Lindos and Lardos with prices dramatically increasing. It's bad enough that I wouldn't return here solely for this reason!

I have been going to Pefkos for 25 years and one of the main reasons was the small and idyllic beach which we usually patronised every day.  However, sadly I will not return.

The beach has become much smaller and the sunbed sellers have crammed in many beds and umbrellas almost 60cm apart, leaving almost no sand for the visitor to place a towel on the sand.

I witnessed one woman, who wanted a sunbed in the front row for a couple of hours while her son swam and played on the beach but the seller insisted she pay 25 euros for the two beds!

Sadly, tourists are being pushed away from the beach due to ridiculously high costs for sunbeds and no spare areas on the sand to sit on a towel.

I noticed the excellent Lee Beach Taverna was quiet on several occasions so I'm sure it will impact the beachside tavernas.
